Recording the new Album

This is part 1 of our recording blog. Saturday February 27th 2010.

Last Saturday we went into the studio ready to roll for recording our upcoming release "American Paranoia". Bootsy came in late, as usual, with a throbbing headache but managed to recover quickly thanks to a good shot of Ibuprofen and 2 shots of "Effect" his favorite energy drink. We should actually get an endorsement from them. lol!

Anyways, at around 11 am we were ready to go and knocked out a few tracks to only realize later that we were completely out of tune but since we were all out of tune it sort of made sense while we played the songs but later when we listened to the track it was fairly obvious. So back into the booth and redo the guitar and bass tracks. hehe.

The rest went really smoothly and we knocked out the rest of the tracks pretty much at first take. The sound engineer said it's like working at an assembly line. haha, he has a point but even we didn't know that we were so well rehearsed. Even without proper mixing and mastering the whole thing sounded awesome. We can't wait to go back into the studio to put some vocals down.
